“That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, THOUGH IT BE TRIED BY FIRE, might be found unto praise and honour and glory..."
Circumstances (trials and temptations) can force one to dig down into him/herself and learn the brevity of life.....
Its a process that one wouldn't want to go through but its a sure way to maturity and success.
Jesus knew the process was too much for Him and He cried out, "if possible let this cup pass by...."
But He realized that to experience the joy set before Him (Hebrews 12:2) , He had to endure the cross i.e he had to go through the process.
In other words, it is the process that makes you and I who we are or will become; it is the process that shapes our destiny, it is the process that brings the best out of us.
Until Job was refined by the process, there is the part of the grace, mercy and provision of God that he had not grasped. It was only after the process that he said "i have heard by the hearing of the ear, but now my eyes have seen..." (Job 42:5) Sometimes it seems like God has closed all the doors you know of. And it is in these trying times that we begin to question doubt and ask these questions: * Does God have my best interest at heart?
* Does He see the pain that im going through?
BUT BE REST ASSURED THAT IF YOU CANNOT TRACE HIS HAND, YOU CAN ALWAYS TRUST HIS HEART...
