Food is bae!

food is bae.. also bae is bae ;)

Hello. I had never though id post something I have cooked.. but somehow I wanted to share this. Simple and less time consuming. Enjoy!

Ingredients

Meat

- Chicken

Marinade

- 2 table spoons Dark soy sauce ( adjust according to amount of meat being marinaded)

- 1 table spoon Brown sugar

- Salt

- Powered garlic

- Oil

- Mixed herb

- Italian herb

- Lemon juice

- Red chilli

Veggies

- Carrots

- Green pepper or whatever pepper you like

- Onion

- Green beans

Diary

- 1 cup Full cream milk

Instructions

1. Get a bowl and mix all the marinade item listed above. If you fill its too little for the chicken you are working with, you can double the amounts. Make sure one flavour does not out do the others. Or you could add a bit of water to increase the amount. Allow the marinade to be absorbed in the meat for about an hour or 2.

2. While waiting, you can get your veggies ready. Cut them in whatever shape you would like! Make cooking fun!

3. After the elapsed time, get your frying pan ready. If you are like me, you prefer baked than fried, you can still go ahead and do that. i fried this particular one because I do not have an oven yet. Do not pour out the rest of the marinade, it will come in handy later!

So, with whatever method you use, make for the chicken is cooked to medium rare. Don’t worry, all the parasites will be destroyed because we are going to cook it the gravy also 😊 . this should take about 10-20 mins.

4. I know your veggies are ready to be thrown on the pan. Again, you can go wild with the veggies, I used what I had. Begin to introduce then to the frying pan Starting with the onions. Fry until golden brown. The onions first because they have great flavour in them that we would like to maximise. Pour in the rest on the veggies one at a time. Add your salt and black pepper.

5. Add the remaining marinade in your veggies, this gives more flavour not only to the chicken but the gravy also. Add your milk also to thicken and neutralise any flavour that is “too much”. Let it shimmer.

6. Put the chicken on your pan of gravy. Let it shimmer for a few a mins.

7. Serve it with any starch of your choice!

Ready, set eat!
